Creators of PRN: The Newsletter for Community Pharmacists

Serving the Pharmacy Community Since 2007

     ABOUT US

PRN Publishing was founded in 2007 by a group of practicing pharmacists in New York City who wanted to create a better way for both the pharmacist and pharmacy student to access the latest information in their field. As is the case with most professionals, pharmacists are deluged with trade magazines, scholarly journals, continuing education booklets, press releases, and industry mailings. Our goal at PRN is to extract from this mountain of information the most relevant and important facts and present them, in concise form, to the busy professional. Debuting in November, 2007, PRN: The Newsletter for Community Pharmacists is specifically designed for those practicing retail pharmacy in the state of New York.

Why PRN? The name, of course, is shorthand for “pro re nata,” the Latin for “as needed.” We hope to provide our readers with quick and convenient access, as needed, to the latest information from all the fields that impact the profession of pharmacy: new drug approvals, changes in law, third party billing, clinical updates, and OTC news, to name but a few.

Why not get started right away? You can access the latest issue of PRN right HERE

The staff of PRN: The Newsletter for Community Pharmacists is made up entirely of registered pharmacists currently practicing in New York State. We are your colleagues, facing the same challenges you face on a daily basis.
